Polyester Webbing Slings

The flat webbing lifting slings are made from high tenacity polyester webbing; which are colour coded as per International standards for ease of identification for lifting and is manufactured from high tenacity yarn. Douplex webbing sling is made by teaching two layers of webbing sling and Triplex webbing slings are manufactured from triple layers of webbing, while Quadruplex webbing slings made from four layers of webbing, either terminated in a metal end hook fitting or, more popularly sewn back folded with a high tenacity Polyester fabric to form a reinforced Eye, which provides greater durability to the eye/loop . These flat webbing lifting slings are most popular type and suitable for general & heavy industrial lifting, where high working load is required with light weight webbing slings, The slings are as strong as steel yet they are light weight and offer reduced risk of injury to manpower or damage the surface of the material. In order to protect the webbing from unnecessary wear and tear, coverings/sleeves are available, in any length which protect both the sling and the material.

Webbing Slings

WEBBING SLINGS belongs to the flexible lifting equipment group generally known as Lifting Sling. The flat woven webbing sling is a sling consisting of webbing with woven edges and reinforced eyelets at both ends. These can be provided with Anti-abrasive/Protective sleeve. Maximum mass which webbing component of a flat slings is designed to sustain in straight pull and which a slings or slings authority is designed to sustain in general lifting services.

RAW MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION DETAIL:-

  • - Webbing Slings are made by 100% High Tenacity polyester Yarn, With relative density 1.38.
  • - Melting Point is 260°C.
  • - Elasticity is 2.5% elongation at SWL rated Capacity & recovery is 95% after 24 hours.
  • - Working Temperature range is from (-40°C to +100°C).
  • - Slings are Highly Resistant to mild acid, dry cleaning solvents, Soap & detergent.

Polyester Slings Should be kept in a place which is clean and free from dust, grime and foreign material. Mild soap and water can be used for cleaning purpose. Before Putting the Slings back in Storage ensure also allows easy inspection for inspection for possible damage.
